Wyoming Pure Natural Beef is a family-owned and operated business started by the Goertz family in 2004 in order to provide quality beef that consumers can feel good about feeding their families.
Here at Wyoming Pure, our highest priority is providing the finest beef with the highest customer satisfaction. We’ve been raising cattle and wheat on our farm and ranch since 1910, and we are proud of our Wyoming Roots!
Our ranch is managed in an eco-friendly manner to promote biodiversity and a healthy environment. Rotational grazing is a regenerative process used to maintain grass for livestock grazing and to enhance wildlife habitats. Cover crops, which increase soil health by placing organic material back in the ground, are planted on our farm ground and provide excellent forage for our cattle.
Our farm raises certified organic wheat as well as oats, barley, millet, and hay for cattle feed. Using these sustainable agricultural processes helps us in our mission to provide you with the wholesome, natural products that your family deserves!
Our cattle are born and raised in southeast Wyoming on our ranch, and graze on pasture land or other forage crops most of their lives. They are then finished on grain raised on our farm, or purchased from other producers in southeastern Wyoming for 120 days. This finishing method allows for superior marbling and taste. The cattle are never given synthetic hormones or antibiotics.
Our beef is processed at 307 Meat Company in Laramie, WY, a USDA inspected facility. The meat is dry aged for 21 days to ensure peak flavor and tenderness. After the dry-aging process, the beef is cut and frozen in vacuum-sealed packages.
