Our Story

Wyoming Pure Natural Beef is a small family owned and operated business that was started in 2004 as a way to provide consumers with a quality beef product. The Goertz family wanted to provide a quality product that consumers can feel good about feeding their families. High-quality products and customer satisfaction are our highest priority. Our family has been raising cattle and wheat on our farm and ranch in southeast Wyoming since 1910. We are proud of our Wyoming roots and are members of the Grown in Wyoming Program.

The Ranch

Our ranch is managed in an eco-friendly manner to promote biodiversity and a healthy environment. We use rotational grazing and work to enhance wildlife habitats by setting aside acres on our land for wildlife use. Cover crops are planted on portions of our farm ground. The cover crops make excellent forage for our cattle and the cover crop plants put more organic material back into the soil for better soil health. Our farm raises certified organic wheat as well as oats, barley, millet and hay for cattle feed. We are dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture through these processes and selling beef directly to people like you!

Our cattle are born and raised in southeast Wyoming on our ranch. They graze on pastureland or other forage crops and are finished on grain raised on our farm, or purchased from other producers in the southeastern Wyoming area. We finish our cattle on grain to maximize marbling and taste. The cattle are never given synthetic hormones or antibiotics.

The cattle are processed at a USDA inspected facility. Our beef is dry aged for 21 days to ensure peak flavor and tenderness. After the dry aging process the beef is frozen in vacuum sealed packages.
